Pictures of Shop progress
It's coming along!

A work in progress.

I'm building this to better organize my online

business. After selecting the spot I leveled the

ground, I laid three rows of block down.

Using a string line, I set them all to the same

elevation. The excess dirt I made slight swales

for the smooth flow of rain water.

Before this I drew a few pictures of what I

wanted. Then I drew up the framing plan.

That made the next step of a run to the

lumber yard more efficient. $1200 later

it was time to call my brothers over.

In two days we had it framed and sheathed

Not bad at all time wise considering we also

had our other jobs to tend to. Day three my

younger brother Jeff and I had another job

to finish up in the morning. When I got back

my older Don had the roof almost ready for

the fun part of throwing plywood up and

nailing it down. So that is what we did. Jeff

came back after finishing up his work, and we

proceeded with applying the tarpaper.

Bud time shortly followed.

Next on the schedule was window installation.

Don and I started early the next day and had

the three windows in rather quickly.

We all took a week off to tend to other

business. Meanwhile I'll let the tar paper

get a suntan.........

While waiting we snuck the shingles on.
